BVL National headquarters has a variety of materials and ideas to help you get rolling on a successful fund-raising campaign. BVL Chairs nationwide are entitled to receive a free fund-raising kit, packed full with promotions materials to get you started. This year, too, we have a number of materials available in mass quantity for local associations, for use as thank you's to contributors, volunteers or as raffle items. This kit represents a whole new direction for BVL. We're asking each of our participating local associations to build two important connections - to the BVL headquarters and to the veterans we serve.

The elements of this kit were developed as a result of more than two years of survey and discussion with the nation's most successful local associations. They told us what worked for them, we gathered the ideas and the tools to put the ideas into motion. The elements of the kit include:

BVL Full Color Posters Make an impact on passers-by with this beautiful 17" x 33" full color poster. It can be displayed in the bowling centers during fund-raising weeks, or use it throughout the community to publicize the cause. Be sure to have a few on hand for league meetings or other area bowling events.	Fund-raising Manual New! This easy-to-follow 12 page manual is filled with everything you need to know to coordinate a successful BVL fund-raising campaign. Included are tips for organizing your committee, promoting your drive and creating excitement about the effort. The manual also features public relations tools for adapting to your local program.
Bookmark For those contributors who want to know more about our cause, be sure to order a supply of these convenient 3" x 8" BVL hand-outs. The double sided, professionally-designed pieces offer an easy-to-read overview of BVL in bullet format, perfect for using as a bookmark for years to come.	BVL Stickers These stickers are great for collection cans and envelopes or for materials going to bowlers and partners. Samples of each are provided in the kit. (3" x 6") Additional quantities may be ordered.
BVL Polo Shirt These high quality Chestnut Hill Performance Plus Polos are 100% combed cotton pique, relaxed fit. They are a must for your BVL committee and can calso be used for raffles and fund-raisers. The Ink Blue color is flattering for men and women and come in a variety of sizes. Actual shirts have BVL logo.	"Support Our Troops" Wristbands These red white and blue silicone wrist bands are emblazoned with the phrase "Support Our Troops." They are a great way to spread the BVL message and are a powerful fund raising tool.
"Great Ideas" overview. During our research, we learned about dozens of effective local BVL drives which can be implemented in any community. New Videos Available "BVL: Making A Difference" This brand new public service announcement runs less than one minute, but makes a lasting impression on your audience. It vividly illustrates the critical programs which BVL supports for veterans throughout the nation. Download this now* to show at league meetings, company meetings, at the bowl, or wherever BVL supporters gather. This is a must have for all BVL supporters. BVL volunteers are urged to download or request a VHS or DVD copy of the "BVL: Making a Difference" video to show at league meetings, company gatherings, banquets or wherever potential BVL supporters gather.
